I think, though, that there's a difference between doing something wrong and doing something actionable -- that is, where you might be hauled into court and sued.

The other thing to consider is that the ones who make out like bandits in suits such as this one are the lawyers. I'm not sure that such cases are a societal good.

I do have a big problem with the way lawyers make money off of these cases. I would like to see a better way of holding corporations to account for their actions. But I want more to hold the corporations to account.

As to the difference between something being wrong and being actionatble -- it is true that there is a big difference. There shouldn't be. That's basically what I'm ranting about.
