Back from GaFilk
I have returned from GaFilk.

The very brief report:  The trip was uneventful, the con was well run, fairly well attended (though a few people who should have been there weren't), and a generally low key good time.  It was good to spend time with friends and good to hear music.  My own con was subdued by my being generally depressed (both before the con, keeping me from doing things I wanted to have done before the con, and at the con, limiting my ambition to get out and do things) and also by physical issues (my broken toe slowed me down a little bit; extreme fatigue kept me from getting up for the early programming I wanted to attend Saturday; a little digestive trouble Saturday night sent me to bed a couple of hours earlier than I would have liked).

I do hope to have more to say about the con, but right now I need sleep, so it will have to wait.

I will try to catch up on my friends' journals, but since I've missed a few days, I will be skimming, so if there's anything really important you want to remind me of, leave me a reminder here.

It was great to see you! :)

I'd say that I'm sorry I broke you with that Kanef, but it sounds like you needed that kind of breaking. :) (I love to make people laugh!)

Thank you very much for doing it. It is good to be broken. Part of the reason it is so funny to me is that a good friend of mine (WINOLJ) has done a filk that I'm fond of (but that I don't do myself, sadly, so I couldn't reply with it) on the same subjects. Any friends of mine who understand what we're talking about -- I really want to be able to be the person who introduces Art to this song, so please don't tell him about it. (vixy, he's sure to find out about it before you'd have the chance to perform it for him.)
