Just before getting to bed a little too late, I stole a few minutes to look up at the sky. Then, after waking up a little earlier than intended (and the intended time was already way too early), I went and looked again; the sky was starting to get light but I could still see fairly good stars overhead. No clear meteors, only a couple of barely-perceived-in-peripheral-vision maybes.
Now I have sandpaper eyelids as I get in the car. I should be OK for the drive to EFRC, and being there charges me up. I trust I'll have enough left to get home.
