EFRC Charity Auction
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this in a public post, but even if I have, it can't hurt to mention it again.

EFRC is hosting a charity auction on Saturday, Jan. 19, in Carmel, IN.  Tickets are $15 purchased in advance or $20 at the door.  In addition to the auction, there will be food, drinks, stuff, and a tiger (tentatively Max, whom some of you may have met when he was a baby in the house a couple of years ago).

Since I have to confess that I don't personally find auctions a great form of entertainment, I certainly don't want to try to drag people to this event.  But if you happen to be somewhere in the general area, and you do find this kind of event fun, then it probably will be fun.  And it's certainly a good cause, so I'm doing my bit to spread the word.

Sometimes events like that really are fun, and normally that's close enough that I'd consider going, but since I'll be in San Francisco on the 19th, it's kinda out of the question for this year. :-)

I hope they do well! Carmel should be a good location for it, if they've been doing good advertising to get the word out.
